Fabulous or Faux-Pas: Denim Shirts

Some may argue that denim belongs below the belt, but i happen to disagree. Personally i love denim shirts, and even though they may scream hick, hall & oates roadie, or that you seem to be stuck in 80's americana, its not the case. Exhibited on the spring 2010 runways by Chloe, D&G, and Louis Vuitton, denim harks back to a time when fashion was simple, utility was chic, and being comfortable was all that mattered. An avid wearer of denim shirts, i believe they are practical, they go with pretty much everything, and affordable on all price levels. Unless you wear it with a peasant skirt, matching jacket, or same-colored pants, you will look casual yet put together and utterly chic yet classic, and From either Barneys or H&M, the denim shirt is truly a fabulous addition to the spring line-up, and hopefully, it doesn't go out of style any time soon.
